Welcome My Spirit…
In memory of Michael Jackson
Don’t let me cry, as I say goodbye,
For I rise above it all, with song and laughter,
dancing, Prancing.
Now I don’t need a stage, for the stars will twinkle,
At my own little parade.
Don’t let me say how much you have meant to me,
For words I cannot say,
just songs that flew out the door,
and landing on the lawn with the morning dew,
Would greet the day anew,
For I longed to be good,
Just to be understood.
Yet through the roar of crowed,
How could you hear my gentle voice,
Listen next time and hear,
how much there is in life, that is dear.
Don’t scream your anger for money and wealth,
For it leaves us all,
lonely and lost and far away from here.
I hope in this time and space,
the angels hold you tight in their embrace,
and love you all the more,
For you have helped me grow,
Through this life your songs the wind will sing,
Chanted by innocence and childlike things,
may you find peace in heaven, dancing with the angels,
soaring low and rising high.
For your spirit this world did not care to hold,
Dance, dance little one in the stars with your innocence,
Be strong, be loved, be bold.
with this i lay thee to rest.
In the arms of the angels, that will love you best.
For the music in my ear and your gentle spirit dear.
will always be free, now and through eternity.
