Remembrance

Give me a morning

Give me a morning, my darling, when the light hits the sky,
When the sun finds its dawning,
When the clouds pass us by,
Where I lay still awaking
….and see your gentle face,
That rest within my memory
Of a special private space.

Give me a morning darling,
When I fear no loss of heart,
Where I know today and it’s making
Will not keep us far apart,
For as the gentle longings
Of the dawn begins to break,
I know within my spirit
Your smile will find it’s wake.

Let me this morning darling
help to heal this world
Of it’s songs of endless crying
and the pain of screaming birth…!!!!
Of the land so torn with hatred
Of a sea of endless pain,
Give me a morning darling
That will be full of LOVE again.

Give me a morning darling
Let us sing a song of love
As we each, will bring the hopeless
to a place of heaven above
For this earth is but a cradle
For those who need to heal
From the silent wounds disabled
And the Power of Love revealed.

So give me a morning darling
That I can help some lonely child
As I wrap my arms around him
and smile deep into his eye.
And when the day is over
and we both doth lay to rest
Give me an evening Jesus
I know in my heart was truly blest.

Thank you for all the love we have shared.
You have made my life better.
By just being there.

and I am grateful.

Dedicated to the children of the world and my love Kevi.

Thoughts

when the wind blows in my hair,
In the rustle of the evening breeze
you are there
when a bird calls from a tree
and a lonely gull
doth fly so free
when a raindrop falls from above
and rest its head
on green leaves of love
and in some lonely bar
in the dark of night
in all these moments
in my mind
You will flash like a gentle touch
of a smile I knew, once so much.
and I will drink again and say your name
in my mind and in my heart
that day
will always and forever be the same.

Warmth of Heaven

Fly, like a butterfly,
On wings so light,
In constant flight
Smiling with wondrous cheer,
For you are loved, my dear.

Drop your hair like a luscious mane,
Swing it wild with your head held high,
You may be indeed so vain,
But who cares!
For today it is your show
Dance and sing and laugh as on the road you go.

Feel like a rose,
In beautiful repose,
Dress in the color that would never die,
With the passion that you feel inside.

Remember that if we are to live this life
Do not hide,
Just burst forth with thy ardent beauty,
Crash life’s party,
It is to you,
A simple duty.
Just simply live
Thy beauty.

In memory of that Soldier

Dear wondering soldier,
As you must journey on,
Through rush and thrush and ruble,
Through the wind and rain and natures trouble.
Do you see the angels calling, while the dawn is gently falling,
Singing to you a song of Love,
From the mighty choirs above.
Be not of fear, For you have courage that is dear.
Walk away from your dark memories, that reflect our human neglect.
Stomp. Stomp  round the earth we romp.
Not a care in the air, with madness turned into gladness.
How foolish are we in our own integrity…..
It is sad and even quite mad.
Pardon me, but I must stop to  say.
In my own little humble way.

For to protect us you roam, far away from your home.
From your tender bed. From your lovers gentle arms you fled.
To fight for me. For my own selfish insecurity.
You are a keeper of my earthly peace.
and yet you stand between me and the roar of cannons.
that dance and dance and dance…

In a distant Land.

I know you have no pillow to lay,
Your gentle head. No feather bed.
But I will send you my love and thoughts of hope and peace.
as you return.
May you have comfort in the arms of those you have saved.
For a little path of hope you paved.

Let us now extend a loving hand.
and grant you  peace, as you return from a distant land.

and as the dusk turns to rest. May you simply -Be  Truly Blessed.

With Loving thoughts to those brave men who were, who is and who will be. Let none have died in vain. Blessed be.

your humble friend. Dilani Diva
